There are plenty of supplements and products in the grocery store that claim to help boost your immune system. But while it may sound like a no-brainer, boosting your immune system is actually much harder to accomplish than you might think — and for good reason. As the topic seems to be trending these days, a lot of us are having so many questions regarding how to boost our immune system, how to lose weight, gain weight, what to eat, how to maintain our diet schedule etc. Gandhinagar Institute of Technology organized an online session on “Boost Your Immune System” on 4th August,2021 under the banner of Women Development Cell. The webinar was organized by Dr. Pooja Kagathara from Neutrofit Diet Clinic, Rajkot. The Session was arranged for all the male and female faculties & staff & female students to make them aware about how to maintain the immune system, reduce the effect of infection, illness, blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, etc. She also focused on the timings that one should follow while taking up one’s meals. Lastly, she mentioned about physical activity, that engaging in as little as 30 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous exercise every day helps stimulate our immune system. The Session was a great hit for the GIT Family as there was so much to take away from it.
