A Report on “PIONEERS IN MICROBIOLOGY IN INDIA”
Gandhinagar University – Gandhinagar Institute of Science in collaboration with Microbiologists Society, India had privilege to host a webinar on “PIONEERS IN MICROBIOLOGY IN INDIA” on 1st August, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 AM. Director, Gandhinagar University, Dr. H. N. Shah had given the approval to conduct the event. Deputy Registrar (Administrative), Professor Nirav Joshi graced the event with his presence. Dr. Rachana Shukla, Assistant Professor, Gandhinagar Institute of Science had coordinated the event. The session was so informative and interactive. Aayushi Mehta, former post graduation student of Gujarat University suggested to conduct the same kind of lecture on particular research topic so that may be helpful to research scholars. Another participant from Shillong discussed regarding the difficulties they are facing at Northern-east regions for carrying out the research. The solutions given by Dr. Swaranjit Singh, Director, SAS free Polyclinic Perch, (Mohali, Punjab) might be helpful to all the listeners. Around 27 participants from various colleges/ universities and institutes participated in the event. Gandhinagar University is willing to become an active event partner with Microbiologists Society, India for future activities.
