About International Student Cell

Gandhinagar Institute of Technology is proud of its culture and traditions. The institute currently houses International Students from Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Fiji and Mozambique, thereby making it a truly international institute. Here the students get to network with fellow students and a number of International Alumni, which help the foreign students to get acquainted with different spheres of academic, research, personal and professional life, providing a true cross-cultural environment of learning at the institute.

The International Student Cell is a hub for the foreign nationality students at GIT. It provides guidelines related to admission, issue of offer letters for provisional admissions, bonafide certificates, stay, guidance to register with Foreign Regional Registration Office (FRRO), medical fitness examination, maintaining lawful status, extension of stay and addressing any other academic or administrative problems of foreign students.

Hostel Facilities & Fee

A fully furnished Hostel Room (sharing basis) will be provided to each student. Security Deposit of ₹ 10000 to be paid which will be refunded at the end of the course.

Hostel Facilities:

Comfortably furnished flats that make for a good home away from home.
Situated just 2 Km away from institute. Free Bus facility for travelling to and fro from hostel.
24 hours electricity and water availability. House Keeping included.
The hostel flats are spacious with natural light and ventilation. Each has an attached toilet, bathroom and wash basin.
Each hostel flat has an attached kitchen.
Basic requirements like Cupboard, Study table, Chair, R.O. Water purifier per flat, bed and mattress.
Individual security guard at each hostel building.
Basic modern facilities will be provided.

Note: The accommodation excludes laundry expenses. Electricity bill up to ₹ 1000 per month (per flat) included in accommodation. Electricity will be chargeable beyond ₹ 1000 per month (per flat). Good veg and non-veg food options available in the vicinity. Grocery stores available in the hostel premises. Gym on chargeable basis.
