Intellectual Property Awareness Webinar
The Office of Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trademarks, GIT IPR Cell, GIT SSIP Cell, GIT IIC Cell and GIT IQAC has planned a session on the ” Intellectual Property Awareness Webinar” on 14th March 2022. Mr Arpit Jain, Examiner of Patents and Design Patent Office, Mumbai, DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt of India was invited as an expert for the event. The expert discussed the objective of patent, significance and importance of patent, filing procedure of patent. He also mentioned other intellectual protections like Designs, Trademarks, Copyrights and Geographical Indications. This awareness program inspired the students to protect their innovative creations.
