Prarambh: Computer Literacy Drive

GIT successfully conducted ‘Prarambh: Computer Literacy Drive’ for the village kids of Std. 8, ‘Moti-Bhoyan Pay Center School’, from 11th to 22nd March 2019. The objective was to empower the rural kids about the futuristic digital world by introducing them to the ‘Basic Computer Course’. A ‘Certification Distribution Ceremony’ was organized on 5/4/2019 in Moti-Bhoyan school, wherein certificates were distributed to all students who completed the course. Nail Cutters were distributed to inculcate clean habits such as sanitation and hygiene in kids. Principal, Dr. H N Shah sir stressed upon the importance of education in rural areas, and motivated them to complete their studies. Shri Jayeshkumar Dhruv (Principal, Moti Bhoyan School) appreciated the efforts of GIT for conducting the drive and empowering the village kids. He expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to all the HODs for distributing biscuits to the kids; and the GIT administration for providing transportation facility during the drive.
