A Report on Tree Plantation 2021

Continuing with its tradition of preserving the environment and having eco-friendly activities, the “Tree Plantation Event” was conducted on the campus of Gandhinagar Institute of Technology on world nature conservation day, 28th July 2021. Prof. Amit Patel has shared an outlook towards nature that must be changed from Utility to Divinity. Dr. H N Shah, Director of the institute, added, “We should not only save the trees but should put our equal efforts in planting as well nurturing the trees till its growth.” More than 80 Participants have planted more than 100 saplings around the campus and nearby their homes. At the plantation of saplings, all have recited a shloka to maintain the divinity between the human and nature.
