Tree Plantation with One Degree Awareness
The National Service Scheme (NSS) is going to celebrate an event “Tree Plantation with One Degree Awareness” on 30th August, 2022 (Tuesday), 10:00 AM with collaboration with ISHRAE Ahmedabad Chapter and GIT ISHRAE Student Chapter at Gandhinagar University Campus, Moti Bhoyan.
The main aim of the program is to plant sapling to collect carbon from the atmosphere and preserve native tree species. One of the most entertaining, ecologically beneficial things we can do to save the globe is plant saplings. Numerous long- and short-term advantages come from trees. They not only have a pleasing aesthetic, but they also capture and store carbon from the environment, slow down heavy rain and so lessen the risk of floods, enhance air quality, and lessen the urban heat island effect by reflecting sunlight and offering shade. This event is a positive step in the right direction toward creating a healthy environment, educating students about the advantages of saplings, and encouraging environmental care and also spreading awareness over saving energy of Air Conditioners by increasing the temperature.
